Brazilian delegation visits UPD

A 14-person delegation of scientists, representatives from the academe, policy makers, and the private sector paid a courtesy call to UP Diliman (UPD) Chancellor Edgardo Carlo L. Vistan II to discuss the possibility of academic partnerships particularly in the realm of semiconductors.

Prior to the meeting the delegation visited the facilities under the ³Ô¹ÏÂÛ̳College of Engineering Electrical and Electronics Engineering Institute (EEEI) and met its director, Lew Andrew Tria, PhD and the Microelectronics group composed of Louis Alarcon, PhD, Maria Theresa De Leon, PhD, and John Richard Hizon, PhD.

The Brazilian delegate were on campus last April 30 at the ³Ô¹ÏÂÛ̳Office of the Chancellor.
